Shamrock Park and Nature Center
The Shamrock Park and Nature Center offers one of the last scrub habitats in coastal Sarasota County. This park and nature center prides itself on preserving scrub joy and the gopher tortious population.
The park offers 1.2 miles of paved trails spanning its center and connects to two other routes, The Venetian Waterway and The Legacy, that enable over ten extra miles of adventure. Once the trail ends, enjoy the sights that downtown Venice offers! A historic train station, beach access, and many other parks are just the tip of the iceberg!
The park also offers group activities by owning basketball courts, tennis courts, birdwatching areas, and butterfly garden demonstrations.
The nature center provides room for business and educational meetings but can also be rented for group picnics of greater size. The educational sessions consist of environmental studies and programs to aid in the surrounding environment of the county and state.
The Shamrock Park and Nature Center are ADA accessible, animals and pets are strongly prohibited.
