Spring training is when Major League Baseball (MLB) teams play a short warm up season from the end of Feb to the End of Mar, to get ready for the long season ahead. All the teams gather in two main places, Arizona for the Cactus League, and Florida for the Grapefruit league. The ECHL is the Premier "AA" Hockey League with 27 teams in 20 states and two Canadian provinces and Florida has several teams, 1 of which is in SWFL, based in Estero, Florida, between Cape Coral and Naples, FL. Games are usually Oct-Apr.
