Bird Key Park

Bird Key Park is located before the south side exit of John Ringling Causeway. This park sits just off the shore of Sarasota and provides a perfect escape from the bustling city life.

Bird Key Park is a popular fishing location for the locals. At the same time, canoeing and kayaking launching locations are popular to its visitors.

This renovated area offers biking, jogging, of walking trails down the shoreline and is perfect for soaking in the views of the city in the distance. Benches are located throughout the trails. So, sit back and observe the small piece of Florida's natural scenery and wildlife. Or, tie up a hammock between the beautiful palm trees for a relaxing day near the ocean as you listen to the birds and watch the sunset or rise.

This park nestled between bridges has two covered picnic pavilions free to use for the public, so bring a lunch for the family!

Bird Key allows pets, but they recommend the animals are leashed.

This park is also handicap accessible.
