 Bayfront Park
At Bayfront Park there is lots of outdoor fun to be had for all age groups. Recently the park added a Bioswale, a storm water runoff system. This bioswale helps prevent erosion and improve water quality and also encourages native plants to flourish. If you see the Bioswale while visiting, try to spot some native plants like the Cabbage Palm, Railroad Vine, Mangrove Spider Lily, Trailing Porterweed, or the Sea Purslane. You may also spot native butterflies and birds that enjoy the Bioswale as well.

Some of the many amenities the park has to offer are walking paths, a playground, public art pieces, fishing, and even kayaking/canoeing. There are drinking fountains, restrooms, and picnic tables located throughout the park for your convenience. Bayfront is also dog friendly so your fur babies are welcome.

The Children's Fountain has been indefinitely closed and the splash pad is no longer working but there are plans in place to completely rebuild and redesign this area of the park. You can visit Bayfront’s Facebook page for updates as the remodeling happens.
